At Founders Classical Academy, we seek to provide a well-rounded education that is distinctively classical, pursues knowledge, promotes virtue, and prepares students for prosperous lives in a free society. Founders Classical Academies are public schools of choice in a private school setting. Students in grades K-12 need educators who are willing to guide them and help them become virtuous, responsible citizens. We offer a rigorous classical education in the liberal arts and sciences and we value applicants with real-world experience and education. ● Talking Point 1: Our mission statement states, Founders Classical Academy of Frisco seeks to provide an excellent and distinctively classical education that pursues knowledge, promotes virtue, and prepares students for prosperous lives in a free society. ● Talking Point 2: Motto: Scientia, Virtus, et Libertas or Knowledge, Virtue, and Liberty ● Talking Point 3: The mission statement and motto sum up the purpose of education as expressed by the Founding Fathers of this nation: If we hope to maintain our individual liberties and societal freedoms, then we must have a well-educated and virtuous citizenry. There is no other way to keep a republic of liberty. ● Talking Point 4: The classical curriculum can be more rigorous and challenging. ● Talking Point 5: Founders Frisco’s students read full, classic books and write rigorous essays, culminating in a senior thesis.
