Brand Talking Points: Founders Classical Academy

At Founders Classical Academy, we seek to provide a well-rounded education that is distinctively classical, pursues knowledge, promotes virtue, and prepares students for prosperous lives in a free society.

Founders Classical Academies are public schools of choice in a private school setting. Students in grades K-12 need educators who are willing to guide them and help them become virtuous, responsible citizens. We offer a rigorous classical education in the liberal arts and sciences and we value applicants with real-world experience and education.

The Micro Academy is not tied to any school except FCA Online. It is located in the city of Carrollton at a separate location not a current campus of ours.

It is located on a church campus in a building that is not in use by the church during the week

FCA Online students are the only students on site.

Founders Classical Academy – Online students in Dallas-Fort Worth have an additional option to attend our Micro Academy in Carrollton. Micro Academy allows students to enjoy the flexibility of online learning with the social opportunities of the on-campus learning environment. Students can attend in person all 5 days, or a few days a week, and there are full-day and half-day options available (see below for additional information). While both online programs harness today’s technology, teachers are still at the center of our instructional experience. The program is focused on the classical liberal arts and sciences, with a strong emphasis on civic education and character development.

Our Micro Academy is an add-on option for families who are enrolled in FCA – Online. It provides additional facility, staff, and extracurricular programming to enrich the academic experience for our students – similar to that of a traditional brick and mortar campus. Our students will continue getting all the live instruction and support from FCA – Online, virtually, but allows them a space to come together to form a local learning community.

Campus Talking Points: Add any talking points provided by campus below

  • ● FCA Online is all live learning. We have teachers for every grade k-8 and they teach students live vs other online

    schools that use videos.

    ● We have Art & Music for K-8. If special supplies are needed we will send materials to parents.

    ● We will send out computers for students upon request

    ● Students are allowed to participate in the xtracirriculars offered at the b&m campus as long as it doesn’t interfere with

    either schedules.

    ● Students are required to log in daily for attendance. Cameras must be turned on, and students must be in uniform. We

operate like a normal campus. We are not a self-paced program, if students are not participating they can be removed

from the program. We really want to stress the importance of attendance expectations to parents early on.
