TexasWorks does not issue a GED.
Instead, it offers a TEA-recognized high school diploma for adult learners enrolled in its Subchapter G adult charter program.

All TexasWorks students work toward meeting graduation requirements through one of the following pathways:

  • ? Foundation High School Plan (22 credits)

  • ? Foundation + Endorsement (26 credits)

  • ? Distinguished Level of Achievement (DLA – 26 credits)

Some campuses may provide support tools, prep resources, or referrals for students who previously attempted the GED elsewhere. However, once enrolled in TexasWorks, students are placed on a diploma pathway only.
